So it was a gorgeous day here today, huh? I would have loved to have cruised around today, except I just rolled in from the airport after spending a weekend in Vegas! With the awesome weather they have in vegas, I think I need to relocate so that I can cruise every day!! and of course I come home to a week of rain

My brother lives out there, so I usually stay with him. I was only there for the day on friday though, so I didn't get to stay. Where did you stay?

Oh that's cool...I am jealous! I love the weather out there! I went with 8 other girls and we stayed at the Palms. Got home late last night, so work is tough right now!

Was absolutely beautiful, washed and waxed my GT yesterday. There were a lot of stangs out playin' this weekend in my neck of the woods.

Today on my way home from work I assume that was you whom I followed into the right hand lane of WB I88 untill I hit my speed limiter? You speeder!! I saw you way back at like Harlem Ave but didn't recognize at first cause I didn't know if you had plates yet, but I guess you do.

Yeah, that was me (I got my plates on Friday). My Mach just gets so tired of sitting in the traffic coming out of the city that when traffic breaks loose on 88 it just has to open up...it's like a caged animal I saw you back at Harlem too. I noticed your truck...I haven't seen too many of those Colorados (I think that's what it is) on the road yet. Do you work in the city?
BTW...I should start getting off at Winfield like you did. You actually beat me home!

I work in bucktown near North Ave & Damen. I usually leave around 5 and am on 290 at the western ave exit about 5:30 or so.

The RT59 exit is horrible and a death-trap to boot due to the frequency of accidents at that location. I exit Winfield and go north to Ferry (next light), then go west to Raymond, then over the interstate, then west on Diehl and I actually go THROUGH the Rt59 intersection to the next available Left-Hand turn lane and then navigate the side streets to the complex. I almost always can beat someone taking the rt59 exit and going south on rt59 to north aurora.

I'm definitely going to start taking this way instead. I don't know how many times I've almost been rearended on the off-ramp from 88 to 59. Traffic is just crazy around us...

Hey guys look my first post!

Yea, I'm new to the board and I noticed that alot of you guys are around Naperville. I'm only 18 but I'm pickin up a 99 Cobra soon for a good deal. I saw that someone mentioned something about the Roush at Naperville Central, yea i'm a senior there, we have quite a few stang's around there. Several late 60's stangs to.

Hey Welcome! Yeah that was me that mentioned the Roush at Central...I pass by there everyday on my way to work and I have seen it a few times parked there. Well good luck on picking up the Cobra!

Let me be the first to welcome you to the forums! There are definitely a lot of Stangs in Naperville, we just need to get them all together in the same place some time. Where/when are you picking up your Cobra? Does it have any mods or is it stock? Either way, it's a nice car.

Yea, that Roush at Central is a V6, not very quick but it still sounds and looks good.
