I am going a different direction on tire width. I have the 7.5 width 16" rims and was wondering how narrow can I go on the front rims?

A 205mm tire is recommended for up to 7.5” width. You might be able to run a 195 but you’ll need to check manufacturers recommended rim size for the brand tire you are considering
Big and skinny. I have hub centric spacers for the rear however my front tires are at the fender lips and I would like to bring them in
Time for new wheels with the proper width and backspacing. A 205 isn’t gonna look like a skinny tire mounted on a stock rim..it’s gonna look like a too small stock tire instead.
I talked to a company up North who specializes in narrowing stock rims for $250 a piece so I will probably go with that
If you spend 250 ea. paying somebody to narrow a 16/17” stock wheel...you may as well buy an eight ball and spend a a 72 hour worthless weekend snorting coke.
It’ll end up just the same, and cost just as much.( not that I’ve ever done it you understand).
You’ll end up pissed at yourself for throwing away all that money for something you’ll hate yourself for doing the next day.
Dude, for the love of God...if you just gotta have a 15” big/little vibe going on,...go to a swap meet..there’s got to be a dozen sets of 15x4 Weld drag lites out there just begging somebody who don’t like being able or go around a corner faster than 30 mph or stop from any speed needing to buy them.
