nd some opinions

I've had my 95 GT for awhile now and i'm ready to drop some cash. RIght now as it sits it has the stock 302, with an X cam, 19 pound injectors, an SVO intake and that's about it. SHould I get the Trick flow package deal? I can't seem to find the part number or this anymore. Or shoud I go with a SC? I got about $5K to spend and ant to make the most of it

i'm a n/a guy. if i had 5k to spend on performance, i'd get a chp 347 stroker short block and the trick flow package.

im all for both actually. the 347 w/ TF sounds good, but so does a good blower. then again as someone had said "nothing like being stroked and blown"

i think that would put him over his $5000 limit.

well that all depends. you can find cheap s/c kits for around 2500 and then the stroker kits for about 1500. pending on his mechanical skills, he could break dead even.

If you spend 200 bucks and replace the valve springs and seals, you will probably notice a world of difference. This is assuming you haven't done it already...

I haven't touched the motor in this car at all, been driving it with the X cam and stuff for about 2 years. I'm not real mechanically inclined so someone else will be doing any work for me. I'm just looking for 325-350 HP.

The stock springs are only good up to .500" lift, so putting a bigger cam in car just wears out the springs 100-times faster. You probably have very little pressure at max lift and I'd be willing to bet that the valves start floating in the upper RPMs.
