Need a bunch of advice. Free Nitrous kit from a friend. Auto GT.

I never planned on going for nitrous... My next mods were going to be a TKO and then a blower (and these are still the next things ill buy)... However, a friend of mine is giving their Camaro to their 17 year old cousin and they dont want to give him the Nitrous kit for his own safety. They told me if I change the oil for them, I can take the Nitrous set-up if I remove it!!

Right now, I havent even seen under the hood so I dont know what I'm getting into. They said it was originally a kit for a Mustang, that they modified to work in the 92 camaro.

So really I need a whole load of help. I'll post more when I look at the set-up, but what are the essentials I need to run a smallish ~75 shot as safe as possible on an auto? I'm expecting to have to buy a bunch of extra components to be able to install the kit in my car. Also, do I need to switch spark plugs? I've never really paid much attention to Nitrous before, but if its free, then why not try it.

new plugs are always good maintenance so getting a colder set shouldn't be a problem. It wouldn't hurt, it'll help with detonation. depending on the kit it is you're gonna need the solenoid, nozzle, feed line (under the car) bottle, brackets, arming switch and **** like that. I'm fairly new to nitrous so if i left stuff out which im sure i did please correct me.

If they have the kit on a 92 I'm assuming it was made for an older stang, I believe in 99 they started using the returnless fuel system so the nitrous systems were made differantly, but I'm not sure what the differance is. Take the kit anyway if it ends up not fitting your car sell it and use the money for more mods.

Most likely, it is a dry setup. I am pretty sure you would want to do a wet Nitrous setup on all 99-up returnless style fuel system Mustangs. I would take anything for free. Worse comes to worse, sell the kit on eBay for like $200 and use that cash for other mods or to buy a NEW nitrous setup.
