Could someone with 15 x 7 torque thrust D rims (3 3/4 backspacing) please measure the distance from the axle plane to the backside of the spokes? This would be very helpful if possible.

Thanks

Thank you for the reply and the offer to measure your wheels but I really need the measurement from the D style wheels. I am planning on possibly getting the trans am brakes (large calipers) up front and I know that the torque thust D 15 x 7inch wheel will fit. So what I want to find out is the distance from the mounting surface to the spokes so I can determine if there are any other wheels I may be able to use.

Thanks again.

I have the 15x7 3.75 D's and will try take a measurement tomorrow.

Where are you located, anyway? I might be selling my rear 15x7s so I can upgrade to the 16x8 version (CL205).

Thanks calpoly. I am located in San Jose, CA. At this point I am not sure which rims I am going to use. I want to figure out what my options are if I get the trans am brakes and go from there.

Thanks again.

It looks like its somewhere between 3.5 and 4". Its kind hard to tell because I'm holding the tape measure and at an awkward angle.
