I went to smog that Saleen Explorer thing sitting in my garage and the computer had a couple of codes in its memory.
The car runs fine and passes all the emissions testing but fails immedately because the codes come back after being cleared. I need the assistants of anyone who has the knowledge to correct the problem. Here is what the codes read exactly from the OBD II Diagnotics sheet:
The MIL is commanded On.
Emissions-Related Powertrain DTCs, Mode 3:
Electronic Control Unit ID: 10
P0171
System too Lean (Bank 1)
P0174
System too Lean (Bank 2)
Continuously Monitored Systems DTC, Mode 7:
Electronic Control Unit ID: 10
P0171
System too Lean (Bank 1)
P0172
System too Lean (Bank 2)
... First off, for those that don't remember, I removed the powerdyne POS supercharger and replaced it with a MAC CAI. I'm not sure exact what lbs of fuel pressure the injectors are but they are yellow top ford part# F4SE - A1B. The o2 sensors have already been replaced and I was told that the computer should adjust for the blower not being there. Anyone with ideas, please feel free to share. I'm trying not to go with a custom chip / dyno tune if this problem is easily solvable without that expense. Thanks for all the help
