Need a new Head gasket, which ones are good?

I did search on this, but not finding much. What brand and thickness would you rec for my application? I looked on summit and found about 50 different ones to pick from.

How are you tuning? If you have a good tune, then I'd recommend Cometic gaskets. If you're replaceing them because you blew them out then be careful. They will no longer be the weakest link and you can hurt something much more expensive.

very good advice... I am going to get a wide band o2 meter and a tweecer rt, I am going to feel sick putting back on the stock heads, knowing how bad they suck, but if I spend another grand on my engine my wife will kill me...

HAHAHA... I know that feeling! I'm in the final stages of a maf conversion that will have cost me about a grand when it's all done then turned right around ad told her that I wanted to spend another 2K on a Dart block. Needless to say, that THAT went over like a turd a punch bowl.

fel-pro 1011-1 or 1011-2 should be fine. they are the same thing in the FRPP catalog. i think next time i mught try cometic or ROL.

A lot of people have been pleased with the graphite head gaskets from ford.

They also have a kit to redo your head gaskets that include the head bolts.
