Need a picture of Bellhousing and clutch EQ bar

I need a picture of an Equalizer bar attaching to the bellhousing on a 1969 or 1970 MT with a Cleveland or probably any other engine. I cannot get the EQ bar pivot to sit properly for this connection.


Non of the blow-up style diagrams show what I am looking for. I need to see the piece that attaches to the bell housing and the EQ bar on a 1969 or 70 MT.

The spot you are pointing to is part of the engine block, not the bellhousing.

2+2GT is right; your Z bar goes from a bracket on the frame to a pivot stud that screws into the engine block. Here is a picture when I had the stock linkage set up on the 67.

Thanks, I couldn't recall if any part of the bracket attached to the bell-housing.

one other possibility is you have a later model engine block. on late model blocks, there may not be the same threaded location to mount the stud for your 'Z-Bar'. for example, on late model 302 small blocks, a special bracket is required to mount the z-bar. good luck.
