I was just offered a professional Products upper and lower intake with BBK spacer. He said they are exactly the same as edlebrock performer rpm....almost new with 500 miles on them for $380 CDN. Are theese any good and will I gain much with them.. Should I take this deal. I'll post pics in a sec

So according to google thats about $335 USD.

Looks like a new Edelbrock Performer is $500.

Since it's the same thing...sounds like a good deal to me.

You can get those new for $385 USD, I've ran one and it was ok. Trick Flow was alot better but if your running stock you will like it.

Are you going to stay with the stock E7 heads or do you plan on upgrading? If you are going with different heads, then I would save up for the Trick Flow Street heat intake.

I did like the typhoon on my stock motor..some low end loss, some upper gained...heads still the bottleneck. I run that same intake untouched on my present combo and made simular numbers to the TW or AFR guys with the FTI/EDDY RPM combinations. I would grab it, clean it and install it witthout the spacer (hood clearance issue..and the fact the spacer offers no real assistance.)

spacer should help drop the RPM range a little, if I rember correcty the only diff between the performer and RPM are runner length, which you effectivly increase with a spacer

10-15...it's more about being an addition that will assist you later with your bigger add ons.
