need advice on h/c/i selections

[Green 94 5.0]

my old h/c/i combo was:

frpp gt40x heads
tfs stage 1 cam
frpp gt40 intake

along with:

pro-m 77mm maf
bbk 70mm t/b
24lb/hr injectors

i was very satisfied with the performance gain.....the car made good power all the way to 6k.

what was the question for lol i was set on a 306 short block from dss
185cc afr heads
holley systemax intake
30 lbs injectors
75mm throttle body
80mm mass air flow
1.6 rockers
bbk full lengths and o/r x and flowmaster catback
custom cam

but ive been hearing very bad things about dss
so i might be going with a chp347 or have the guy rick i think it is build a short block for me
do u think the intake and everything will work good with the 347

for a 347 id use this combo:
AFR 185 heads
Edelbrock Performer II intake
custom cam
30 lb injectors, but 36 would probably be better
70mm tb
75mm or 80mm MAF
AFPR and gauge
1.6 rr's

as for the shortblock, it might be better to let a professional set it up for ya cause any little problems that might happen cause cause the entire motor to crap out on ya and i wouldn't wanna see that happen....good luck with the build
