need advice!!!

ok hows this sound. My plan is to sell my 2000 v6 automatic mustang with 43K miles and buy my moms 99 ranger with 45K miles for $2000 and maybe a 1998 Mustang GT manual tranny for about $2-4K, garage the GT, get a show license, drive the ranger because gas and insurence should be cheaper then the GT, start fixing up the GT and start showing it. ok my question is does this sound logical and do you think i could get enough money out of my v6 to afford the ranger and GT?

Well, if you plan on spending $6,000 on two cars, then yes. Your car should be worth more than $6,000. But, I doubt you will find a good used '98 GT for $4k.

You're not going to find a 98 GT for that cheap unless it's really wrecked.

hmmm well then what year (that is still fast) of gt should i try and go with. mind you i can still through maybe a grand in for body work or what not because i have some money stashed away still for a rainy mustang happy day.
