Need advice......buying a 306
Buying a motor, I don't think timeframes and good common sense will come up on a search
306 Long block, Fcam, GT 40 Heads, Heads have been oringed and JE forged pistons. Comes complete w/o intake, fuel injects, etc etc, Front cover, water pump and oil pan all come with.
The issue or question I am having is that the motor has been sitting for the past two years. The guy said it was built to run w/nitrous (but of course he never did
and he only ran it for one season at the track)
Im getting the motor for a what seems to be a VERY good deal, underneath 500 bucks.....My question is am I shooting myself in the foot with this motor, he said he's taken good care of it but..........you never know until you fire her up. Also would a built AOD work with this cam? I was reading that a T5 will work better.
