I have read threads that state you can bolt 03 & 04 seats into the 93 fox body cobras. Everyone has stated it is a direct bolt in.

My question is can you do the reverse. Logic says why not... I need a set of seats fast and have located a set of 90 LX coupe seats. I just want to know before I go buy the 90 seats... will they bolt right into an 03 cobra. Not worried about how high they sit, just if they bolt right in w/o modification.

Thank you so much!

Well like I say... Logic would say yes, but ford nor junk yards will say. Just some crap about what the book says. Book does not list them as a direct swap... So I'm just trying to cover my bases....

I have to take the Seats to FL as part of a swap, so I don't want to have a big OOpsie on my hands 8 hours from home.

Or what happened to your original seats? Surely you're not putting fox seats in as an upgrade???

I am buying his Cobra seats as an upgrade on my 03.... His 03 is going to the bank as a bankruptcy repo. He does not want anything but junk in the car... will they work in his car before I drive 8 hours with them

Good deal on your part, but what they dont get out of his car he will still owe, unless he files for bankrupt right after.

Yes he is filing for bankruptcy... so he is not worried... He is selling the darn body parts off it as long as he gets a swap in return...

well if 94-04 seats fit in a fox then they have to fit in an 03. they say sn95 seats sit higher in a fox, so the only real issue would be the fox seats possibly sitting lower....

As I recall, the trick is to keep the seat tracks with the car they belong on. If you are putting 90 seats on the 04, then you'll need to bolt the 90 seats to the 04 seat track. That shouldn't be a big deal and can be done with simple hand tools.

However, the whole situation makes me a little sick. This persons poor money management and dishonesty costs the rest of us more money on loans we want.

Worst case just swap the brackets to the seats.
