Recently got in an accident and what really ticks me off is that it could have been avoided but my brakes just were not up to par. My brakes have always been kinda crappy and i recently bought new pads, front rotors and Master cylinder, but to no avail still crappy. So now im driving a Kia Rio rental and the brakes on this make my stang's brakes in comparison similar to Flinstones paddle feet-brakes.

Anyways to the point, ive been investigating for a while for just what seems the best option. No matter what it seems i'll need larger wheels (to accomodate larger rotors) somewhere around 17" looks to be the happy medium. For the actual system i figure a 2 caliper per wheel would be a beefy upgrade, but again, im not too sure. Five lug conversion seems to open up all kinds of doors compared to my four lug but i'd like to stay with them if possible. Strange engineering seems to have their s*** together and Baer, by reputation alone looks good also but only seem to offer "kits" for 87' and on five lug.....

So please, any feed-back, suggestions, links, articles or personal experience would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!

I have red cobra disc brakes on all 4 of my tires..Stops on a dime..Never overlook your brakes..Get Brembos because if you haul ass and someone dumb a$$ pulls in front of you you better beable to stop on a whim. With over 400 HP I need good brakes, dont want to mess up my engine bay..
