I am currently swapping a 89 5.0 into an 84 cj7 and would like to know what are all the sensors i need to make this thing run properly. I am getting rid of the smog stuff, as well as teh A/C. So basicaly i need just the essential sensors. Thanks.

This manual is about the best step-by-step resource that I've found.

http://www.vintagebronco.com/newberry/pages/tech/efi/efi.html

I used it when I installed the EFI in my '65. The wire and connector colors in the manual are a perfect match for a '92 5.0 wiring harness. You might have to do a little interpretation for an '89 harness, but it'll get you close. Good luck.

Thanks, I just got this from somebody as well. I already read it over and this job seems pretty dang simple. The only thing I need is to find a barometric sensor. Anybody know where I can get one. New onse are freaking expensive. Thanks gusys

yes.

i wouldn't call the swap easy by any means. be prepared to do a lot of work to get the power circuits done correctly (if you're doing it according to the fordfuelinjection.com recommendation of 4 relays).
