Need Help, 60 ft. times

At the strip, I do a small burnout (street tires) launch between 2,000 and 2,300 rpms, and barely slip the clutch to prevent spinning, and still cant get my 60 ft. time below 2.1 or so. I am sure from what I see other people on here claim, that I should be getting better times than that. Also, my 1000 ft. time is 11.4 (shifting at about 6 grand), is that good for my car or should that be better too? I usualy get a prety decent reaction time. Any suggestions

Where ya located in Ar?

I too would appreciate some help with 60' times. Sticky tires are an obvious thing, but I am talking about suspension mods. What can you add or change that has a direct and certain impact on getting better 60' times???????

Get some subs and a good set of LCA's...Love my Mega Bites!

Arkansas Mystic, don't worry about your reaction time right now. You will still run the same time regardless...just practice, practice, practice. On street tires your should be able to get off a good 2.0...with stickys a 1.8. Be sure to drop the psi out back and pump up the fronts..

I put on some Steeda lower control arms. The car does not spin at all. It just hooks up and jumps out of the hole. I'm only putting out 250 rwhp, but I am also running street tires (Sumitomo).

I have let the air presure down before and the difference was barely noticable. (matto) I live in danville and run at centerville dragway. where are u at in AR?
I'm located in Fort Smith... I believe danville is an hour or two south of where I'm at. Be cool if you could come up sometime, we've got a pretty decent car scene on friday nights.
