ive been following FTI's website on adjusting the valves, but the rockers still have enough lateral play that I can move them back and forth with my fingers. did I not tighten them enough ? my process has been tighten the nut down until i feel a little bit of resistance in turning.. enough to still easily turn the pushrod - but enough so i can feel that the rocker is at Zero lash. is this normal that they move back and forth.. or should I tighten down the rocker more so it becomes harder to turn the pushrod. any help would be awesome - as I am trying to drop the motor in ASAP.

As far as hydraulic roller rockers you want to tighten them down until the pushrod stops turning, tighten the nut 1/4, then tighten allen bolt to lock it in.

The slight movment back and forth is ok,and if you havent fired the motor yet... DO NOT OVER THIGHTEN THEM!

That will cause sooo many problems then a little loose, cause the lifter will pump up and hang the valves open,or collapse a lifter...
