Ok.. car backfired.. and quit.. I restarted it.. it idled a little weird.. had an erratic miss.. I tried revving it up.. but it ran like it was not firing on all cylinders and it would almost die every time.. but it would idle some what ok.... tach was dancing all over the place..hooked up an external tach/dwell and it was dancing all over the place..
turned the car off.. to check my rocker arms make sure none were loose.. nothing wrong.. went to start the car there was nothing... motor turned over but no spark.. plenty of fuel.. idle psi was around 4.5... pulled the coil wire off the distrib and put it close to the block and cranked there was no spark..
bad coil??
anything else it could be...????
