Need help identifying vacuum line on stock intake

Ok from the front of the car looking into the engine bay, under the intake there are two hoses connected. On the left is a smaller vacuum line. Could someone please tell me what this is connected to?

Mine has come off at a connect near the distributor and the hose is old and cracked and there's no way it will go back on the connector. I don't suppose I'm lucky enough that this is one I could just plug up?

If it's not causing any ideling or running problems then plug it. If one day you discover that something's not working just right then you can always cut it back and stuff a union in there to hook it back up. If you know where the thing goes then just cut it back and splice in a new length of hose (assuming you don't want to try and dig under the intake to replace the whole thing).

If it's the front side of the intake that your talking about, there is one hose that goes from the intake to the charcol canister, which is a storage area for the fumes evacuated from the fuel tank.
