Lastnight at work I was leaving and I put the key in the ignition and I got nothing.....except for the blinking red "theft" light. I was sitting there messing around with it for about two hours, and finally the battery went dead. I need to know what the hell is going on here. It goes into theft mode with both keys, so I know it isn't recognizing the keys. If anyone has any clue as to what the fix is here, please let me know.

Do a search for reprogramming the keys. My guess is that the keys, as you said, were not being recognized by the computer and the anti-theft system will need to be reset.

Whenever the theft light is on. the car will not start... might as well not even try... you should have a little button to overide the security system, under the dash or hidden somewhere...
not all cars have it though... read about resetting the key...or if you can disable the system until you can have it reprogrammed
