Well the title pretty much explains it all. How can I get the broken part outta the ignition. Well I have to get a whole new ignition mechanism. Which will cost me a grip since I'm in freggin England. :( I can still crank it up, with the other half but it's annoyin though. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

just take the mechanism OUT.

IT is very easy.

Take off the plastic steering wheel cover off from under the column.

Now look up from underneath. You will see where the cylinder slides into. Now look a little more past it and you will see a pin in a hole.

Turn the key to the on position and press that pin with something that fits in the hole.

Now slide the iginition cylinder out.

From there you can disassemble some of the parts and get the key out. Re-assemble and put her back in.

i was thinking the same as Robert, depending upon how you answer his question. even supergluing a screwdriver tip, etc to the broken fragment can allow one to pull it out.
just be careful to not superglue the fragment to the cylinder. DOH.
good luck.

yeah I was thinkin about the whole super glue thing But I didn't wanna take that route. I can actually see the key in there and I have taken off the little black piece that the key would slide into. So it's just the bare ignition piece. I have some plyers that can grab it, but I have been unsuccessful at obtaining it. I grab it but I can't pull it out. I need to take pics to show everybody to give you an idea of what is going on in there.
