What should be my first mods. I have about 2k to play with right now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Oh yeah down to the paper filter. I want to get it faster than my 95 which runs a 14.7 in the quarter.
4.10 gears and a stall for first mod. after exhaust
cold airs are for looks usually
just do your full exhaust a stall 4.10s
pulleys
cobra intake
Go to autozone and tell them you need heads for a 98 explorer
put those on.
you will need MAC or BBK long tubes to work with these heads, or the any gt40P specific shorties
BFGs NITTOS or ET STREETS
enjoy the massive torque wave your car will have
all thee boltons should be found locally on forums.
h pipes usually go for 50-75
pulleys around the same
intake 300
this setup will easily be a very low 13 second car. very consistant, great driveablity with stock cam. These heads actually improve gas mileage. the stall doesnt, but you will love it.
