need help on a tranny question ASAP

ok guys my brother in law just got his shifter from steeda and they gave him a t5 /t-45 model i had mentioned to him tht he had needed at t3650 or whatever it is..

he has a 2003 mustang gt... what is the best way to find out which transmission he has? so we dont intall the current shifter and screw things up please get back to me asap we will be doing the install in the next few minutes..(hopefully)

he has the 3650, so that shifter will not work with his car.....sorry

2003 is a T-3650 only year for the GT.



If he has a 2003 V6 then that shifter will work because the V6 Mustang still uses the T5

well everybody check steeda;s site as well for there mis-representation they say 79-04 mustang t5-t45 shifter and i figured he has the wrong one damn steeda... thanks guys
