maf- I got my first one(c&l) for a good deal- they are easy to recalabrate(buy a new sample tube) for different injectors. alot say the pro-m is the best. I chose the c&l because of the cost to upgrade(30.00)

the trans- Ive been looking at a TCI or an EDGE RACING torque convertor for my girlfriends car!
from what Ive put together both are nice units! Also, maybe instead of a shift kit you could look into a valvebody and a good shifter! maybe not a full manual valvebody, but one you can shift if you want(my girlfriend got a lentech unit-NICE!)
GOOD LUCK

In my firebird I bought a Vigilante 3000. Loved it, with stock 3.23s I went from a no spin 1.95-2.05 60'/13.2xs to slight spin 1.7x 60'/12.70 and actually gained a mph

The best TQ for a mustang is the stallion.made by Precision Industries www.converters.com ,their a little pricey but their the best If your on a budget,I hear alot of good things about Edge converters, and their less pricey.
