Need help, problem converting 85 lx to dual exhaust

I recently bought #15160 BBK longtube headers and #1510 short h-pipe,double hump crossmember,h-pipe to trans bracket and all exhaust brackets. My problem is got the headers on and everything started putting on h-pipe and the headers collectors seem to be higher than the h-pipe collectors they don't evenly connect h-pipes gotta go up a good bit.The trans is a manual from 84GT5.0 If anyone has had this problem or knows away to fix it I would appreciate it. Thanks

H-Pipe exhaust bracket (under the trans) is upside down? This could raise or lower the H-Pipe by 1-inch depending on which side you mounted it.

Take it to the muffler shop and have them shorten the pipe hangers connected to the H-Pipe.Quick and cheap.

are the h pipe and the headers from diff makers?

h-pipe and headers are both from BBK

also, i think you bolted the exhaust bracket to the trans upside down.
