I'm installing my 255lph fuel pump and I'm stucked at disconnecting the fuel lines. I have fittings but they dont seem to work. Can anybody explain that procedure... Or post pics of what I need to remove the damn fuel lines.

I found the tank lines to be a mofo compared to the connections at the motor...I had the disconnect tools to...the smaller line gave me a run for my money...I ended up taking a 2 small screwdrivers and sending it up the line some....look in there and you can see the 2 small metal tabs that are pushing down holding the line in place...get under them and lift a tad and it'll slide right off...

I believe the Green/Yellow are mostly for the 2 intake line sizes...one of those on the tank is a small one and neither of the above will get inside it to release it...the tank lines have tangs pressing down...the motor one are different for sure...

Ah finally did it with the tools on the right. My friend the mechanic stopped by and we did it together. He said they were really ceased or so. I was pulling on the line while he was messing with the clip.

Thanks guys

Yes I've been done for about an hour and an half now. Everything is re-assembled. I didnt have trouble at all putting the filler neck back into place. Really it was only those 2 gas lines that gave me trouble.. I didnt even start the car to see if it works or not. I'll do it tomorrow.

Tomorrow I'm going to install my HPM driveshaft loop, if everything goes to plan
