I have explorer intake, explorer heads, stock ho cam advanced 4 degrees, I had done this to take advantage of the power by the aod shift points of 4900rpm.

Fast forward, and I've had trans work done and it now shifts at 5500rpm in 1st, and 5200rpm in 2nd. The rpms drop to 4k in 2nd, and 3700 in 3rd.
Peak hp is at 4600rpm and from 4100-5100rpm the hp stays within a 10hp range of peak hp. Peak torque is at 4100rpm and pretty much falls off from there.

The peak power specs are almost exact to the 1993 cobra specs same peak rpms.

I'm unsure why the peak torque rpm is so high compared to stock ho cam results. However I have been doing alot of research to this set up and the dyno graph. Id like the peak hp to be a couple hundred rpm higher, and keep the torque rpms hopefully the same. I can put the cam back dot to dot but Idk how much that shifts the peaks. Any info is appreciated
