OK first off i know this is a talk thread but evertime i went to 4.6 talk it logged me out. so admin feel free to move this thread.

Now i am wanting to get a set of chrome saleen's for my car. 1998 gt vert.

Should i go with 18X9s up front and 18X10's rear or 18X9's all around.

pics would help if anyone has any. i am thinkig about the 18X10's on the rear so i can get a wider tire i just want to make sure the wheel doesnt stick out to far of the qtr panel.

Also what offset should i get 24mm or 30mm

what about tires i was thinking nitto 555 on front and nitto nt-01 or nt-05 on rear.

what size tire on 9" rim and 10" rim

will a 265/35 fit up front.

go with 18x9 and 18x10 you won't regret it, and 265 should be fine, that's what I run in the front, and 295 in the back.

As for offset I'm not sure.

Also look at americanmuscle.com they have good deals on wheels and we get a discount as forum members

i am not going to do that i ran 275's on my bullitts and the tire angled out from the rim. i didnt like that look. besides the 18X10's are not that much more. my car isnt a daily driver so looks is everything for me.

Whats the code for americanmuscle discount

i have 265/35 and 295/30 but you should go 295/35 in the back for a little taller look.

as for offset im not sure, its listed on the americanmuscle page for the wheels, it needs to be the correct one for 99-04 stangs.

you need to PM AMNick for a discount code, its worth it.
