I don’t have much info on my brake system. Maybe you guy could help me ID the parts? I have a suspicion that I may need to upgrade my brake booster. Thanks!

Stock booster. Can’t tell MC.

Brake setup is the Baer equivalent to the m-2300-k. Setup. Baer-marked 13” front Cobra setup. Rear brakes are 12” with calipers off a Camaro or corvette. Mid 90s era stuff (Kit was sold until mid 2000s or 2010 the latest.

Baer dubbed it the “m2300k killer”

I was hoping you'd reply... I hear you're the brake expert around here. Which, clearly, you are haha. When you say Baer marked 13' cobra set up... does that mean they're essentially cobra calipers? Eventually I'll need to get pads and rotors for this setup so I was wondering what to install. Any idea which year chevy rear calipers? I need to head into the garage in a min.. I'll snap a pic of the MC. Thanks man!

They are pretty much cobra calipers. Any 94-04 cobra pad will fit.

Measure the rotors. They had a 12” and 13” version. The 13” is cobra stuff.

I’ll searcg on the rear brake stuff. I want to say 1993 Camaro? But not 100% on that

Perfect, thank so much! Here’s a picture of the MC. I actually remembered I had a stock one for 87-93 new in the box.. it doesn’t look like what I have. Sorry about the pics... it was hard to get a good one. Hard to tell, but the reservoir is angled down.

Yup.. it would appear so. According to this http://www.mustangandfords.com/how-to/wheels-tires/26265 article, the Baer kit came with a MC. I'm assuming here, but if it were a 93 cobra mc, would I benefit from a 93 cobra/ 94-95 booster?

It would decrease pedal effort.

Do you like how they feel and stop now?

Short answer no. Long answer, they stop fine. I've always thought I had to push them pretty hard to make the car stop though. It will stop good if I push hard though, so I thought it was fine. Ofcourse I have nothing to compare it to though.

I agree on the 93 cobra booster. All of my cars have 4 wheel cobra disc brake setups and all run a 93 cobra booster. You will be shocked how much better the brakes will feel with that booster.
