Color is so very subjective. If you like attention, get the Torch Red. I've seen several new 08's in Dark Candy Apple Red and I think it is too much like burnt orange. Blue is better if you want something classy that doesn't stand out (much like the Dark Shadow Gray on your 03. Of course, I'm biased against red as 4 of my 6 Mustangs were blue (my 00 GT was silver and my 07 GT is alloy gray), so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

From those colors, I'd pick Torch Red. My last mustang was close to that color (Performance red). When I got my '08, it was between Torch Red, Alloy, and Vista Blue, with Vista being a definite third, and the other two difficult to pick between. When I saw Vista in person though, it was nice, but just didn't do it for me as an everyday color.

Ever since the S-197 came out I loved the Vista Blue:nice: :nice: And now since Ive seen the Torch Red:drool:  I cant friggin decide:shrug:

I agree colour is subjective.

For me the number ONE colour as always been Screaming Yellow Clearcoat and I am quite devastated that its no longer available now that I am in a better position to look at buying a new Stang.

Torch Red is funky and IMO suits such a performance car. Possible with white stripes.

The new Grabber Orange looks good (blakc stripes) but is IMO not as good as the Yellow.

Lastly an not what I'd normally go for is white, but it would either need blue or red stripes else it looks rather plain and boring.

Darker metallics all look nice and classy and the lighter metallics look very easy on the eye and sophisticated but I feel such colours belong on cruisers and luxuary cars more (Lincoln, Caddy, Jagaur saloon/sedan).

A Mustang is about FUN, noise, speed, performance, FUN, interest, FUN, etc.

So I feel it deserves to have a FUN in your face colour to match the rest of its personality (or is that my personality......... :) )

Since the '07 is my 3rd black Mustang ('65,'04,'07), I am DONE with black!!! :nonono:

I wish Ford would offer Dark Toreador Red as a color for the Mustang... I know for sure though, my next Mustang/car/etc. will NOT be black.. To much work.. :notnice:

I did see the '08 Vista Blue Shelby at my local dealership.. I must say, it is a very nice color.. although I don't know if it is easier to take care of compared to a black car.

I love the Vista and the way it sparkles in the sunlight. It was the only color for me as an '06 option. Had I been able to afford the '07 last fall it could've been between the Alloy or the Grabber Orange. VB is very easy to take care of. Even filthy at more than 15 feet away it is difficult to tell:D

I have a 2007 torch red. I had a 2005 windveil blue. I have a 1966 candyapple red convertible. They are all great colors.
I have had a 1994 black GT. Great color but lots of work to keep clean.
I also could not find a vista blue GT like I wanted and "settled" for a torch red which was also hard to find.
I am glad I got the torch red. I also had a 2003 Mach 1, torch red. You can't go wrong with it. Get the red interior. You will love it. I was hesitant but now am glad I have it. I get compliments all the time on the color.
