I purchased a 92 lx that was in bad shape(body wise) it had a fresh short block it. Here's my problem went to the track the other day, ran a 14.5 at 92 mph. Had the slicks on there 26by10, traction sucked. I'm not sured about my combo 306, comp. ratio 9:1, E303 cam, ported stock heads with roller rockers 1.6, gt40 intake 65mm throttle body, 19lb injector, 76mm C&L with tube. 4:10 gear, upper and lower rear control arms. The car is stick(heavy duty T-5). I'm not sure but I'm thinking should I upgrade to 24lb injectors(the C&L can be changed to cal. for 24lb injectors) or is the C&L 76mm to big. The thing that really sucks it my first time taking this car to track after I do my burnout, and I'm about to line up for my third pass they tell me to pull of the track I'm leaking something. I thinking oil leak right away, no the seal on the right side of the rack started leaking. Sorry for rambling on but any help would be great. THANKS.
