Have an o5 vert. I bought the Steeda Ultralite rims and need new tires. Steeda said go with 275/40/18's. Which tires should I go with. I'm from MA but only drive my car April - November so I don't need an all season tire but I also don't something so soft that I'll burn them up in a year either. Thanks for the help on the subject.

Procharger Pisc-1, 4.10 Ford Racing Gears, Diablo Tuner with Mafia, MAC Axlebacks, Steeda Ultralite 18's.

I have BFG G-Force KDW2's I think is what they're called. Very agressive looking and great on dry and wet pavement.. snow... not so much.

Can't go wrong with Goodyear GS-D3s on UltraLites

I also have a 05 GT Vert in Silver Satin, black interior and top.

Just recently went with Steeda UltraLites chrome 18x9 rims and Goodyear F1 GS-D3s all around in 275/40-18 size. Also installed Steeda's Sport Springs front and back. No problems with rubbing, etc.

Best of all? Steeda can now ship their UltraLites with the Goodyears already mounted, balanced, and "indexed" (supposedly balances high and low points of rim with opposites in the tire - BS? lol) - this is a new combo service since I believe they didn't handle Goodyear in the past.

I had the Goodyear GS-D3s on my 02 GT Vert and loved them; they're the top rated performance tire in dry and wet conditions (Car & Driver mag test) but lousy in the snow as should be expected.

Call Mike Morella in Steeda Sales and he'll get you a good deal on the package if you decide to go this way. Good luck.

next question,
Should I get all 1 size or get smaller in front. Do you lose that much treadlife not being able to rotate the tires if your go with staggered sizes on your tires? What's the average mileage I can expect to get out of the tires if I do go with different sizes?
