Keep an eye on Craigslist. I found a guy parting out a '98 Cobra. I got front and rear calipers and rotors, front spindles, and a Cobra spare for $400. Rare deal to be sure but the used parts seem to be holding up.

Speaking of spares. You will need a spare tire/wheel from a Cobra when you upgrade. Cobra spares are rare and expensive.

Nice that's my exact car, I like that looks good, the only other rim I was looking at was the FR500 in black.

I had black FR500s on my Cobra and they looked great. I also like the '03 10th anniversay wheels.

If you are concerned about performance find a wheel that is light. My FR500s were replicas and they were freakin' heavy.

Here's my car with Bullitts. Not the lightest wheels but they were on the car when I bought it and I think they look pretty good.

I think it is down to the FR500's or 10th ann. wheels....I even thought about just getting 5 lug 93 cobra wheels to keep an oem look

For the money I liked the cobra brake system I intalled on my old 95 gt. Night and day difference from stock. Parked the car for awhile, forgot how well they worked and hit the brakes for the first time sort of hard and almost threw up a lung. Awesome.

All three of those would look good. If it were me I'd go with the 5 lug '93 Cobras.

That's worth repeating. Rotating mass makes a tremendous difference. Personally I'd grab a set of Konig Villians from Maximum Motorsports. Not as light as my STI wheels but at 21 pounds fairly light for a 17x9 Mustang rim. And $169/ea is a great price.

Really I'll have to look them up, I had some SSr's on my last car I know the diffrence was huge between them and the stock ones.

Well I got a set of cobra r brakes for $380!!! I feel bad for the guy needed cash asap for ??? but it was a hell of a deal I could not pass on. I'm gonna do regular cobra brakes on the back and I think stick to 93 cobra look wheels in 5 lug.

Yeah I think it is 5.0 resto has them, and only $149 each, I also saw some that were powder coated black with a polish lip but I'm not sure where that was.
