Need hose type / size for smog connection

I'm playing the midpipe swap game and I'd like to replace the hose from my smog pipe that is connected via pipe clamps to the inlet on the midpipe. This is the hose that channels the air from the smog pump into the cats.

Does anyone know the size or type of hose I need before I crawl under there?

I believe a 1/2 i.d. hose will work just fine. Maybe 5/8" ?? I used a silicone hose about 4" long with 2 radiator style clamps and it works perfect. No more messing with that crappy metal clamp.

if you cant find anything big enough at the auto parts store, go to home depot. they have larger size hosing.
