Need more OIL...?

Since I had my heads ported and new comp cam 270 grinds installed, I've taken it easy on the car, just not really revving it too high to let everything settle. Anyway I now have over 1800 mi on the new setup and when I rev it past 6300(give or take 100rpm) I get a ticking in the driver's side valve-train. Sounds like lifter noise on my old 5.0,but not as loud.It eventually goes away or if I shut the car off for a couple of minutes(and re-start it) it's gone.The reason I rev it so high is 'cause I had it dynoed and it made power right to 6200 without a chip, just the stock cpu, and it made 302hp and 300tq on a 9:0-1 blower motor, N/A. I figure with the blower I should be able to rev it to 67-6800 and still be making power. Could I be starving the valvetrain of oil at such a high rpm? It has a Stock oil pump.
These are '99 windsor heads and Bullit intake combo, both ported, comp springs and modmax valves.

O.K. It's a '99 Windsor block, bored .030, '99 heads ported with comp cam 270 grinds,new guides, comp springs and modmax valves. I had the bottom end built with forged pistons and Eagle rods over a year ago and have run it with no problems running 12# and shifting at 5800rpm. The heads had additional bowl work done to lower compression a little more, because last year I was running 12# and this year had planned to up it to 18-21#'s with a D1. I drove the car without the blower to break it in, it is a low compression motor and I had it dynoed on a portable dyno just to see what numbers it would make in Naturally Aspirated form.It made power all the way to 6250 when the rev limiter cut in, so I thought with this cam and intake that I should be making power well in the 6K range.

Other engine mods are 42# injectors, 255 Walbro intank, Accufab oval t/b.

Any ideas? Anyone?
