I've always liked the Motorcraft (Ford) batteries, but I've heard good things about the Optima as well. I think I might try one next time I need a battery.
There are only a select few companys that make car batteries. If you are going for performce you can go optima but other then that just go to the auto parts store and look for a good warrenty with a good price. I actually bought mine from Wal Mart for like 25 bucks on sale. But then again i am not running anything that takes up too much power like a large radio or anything.
