Before i go and spend money to get a dyno tune. I want to make sure i have most of the proper parts so i dont have to change things out then dyno the car again.
With a stock bottom end, i have trickflow tw heads, e-cam, and trackheat. The combo runs very smooth on a stock tune but only pulls a 13.9@101.
Before i get it tuned im going to install 24lb injectors (still has 19's)
The two thing thats worry me is the
65mm TB (to small)?
Track heat intake (to big)?

I have been thinking about swapping the intake out for the street. Or keeping the trackheat and putting on a 75mm tb.
any opinions?

With that cam, i would say get the street intake. Get a CUSTOM CAM and run the track heat with the 75mm. You have to match your heads and intake to your cam.

If you get a custom cam and tell the maker to make it run strong with good tq and hp numbers than the bigger track heat intake will work. But with that e-cam which is decent, but others will work better, i would just do the street.

BTW, why not just run the TFS Stage 1 cam with the track? Either way, i say get the custom cam if you got the money, there is not one person i have met who regretted that decision.

Jay Allen, Ed Curtis, Buddy Rawls(sp?) are all good custom cam guys.

Track heats fine but you need to cam it right. E cam isnt right. 75mm TB. I'd recommend a 30lb injector and an 80mm pro m. Your getting a chip done? I'd put a street heat on it if your keeping that E cam. 75mm TB either way ;)
