Need opinions. Body mod.

I am going to start doing the body and paint on my LX soon. I was thinking about doing a scoop like this. I figured it could be more functional and cheaper than an expensive glass hood. I kind of like it. It is subtle. Just curious want the general consensus is.

Saw the same thing on a green Fox in one of the mags a few years back. It's different, but that's about it. Kind of gimmicky in my opinion.

I was thinking it would feed a cold air kit, more than the look of it. But it's probably better for a show car than something that may see daily use, or rain, etc.
