Alright so my friend might be backing out of the deal with the 03 Cobras. Now I might resort to buying new wheels/tires and was looking for pics of some deep dish (17" ONLY) Bullitt rims on a lowered 94-98 GT. Also will a 245/45/17 fit the 10.5" rim? If not, a 265-275 should do it right?

Thanks

i would not put a 245 on a 10.5" wheel.. :nono:

245's would be dangerous on a 10.5 rim. I have Nitto 315's on my 10.5's and they dont bubble at all. They are flush with the lip. I can imagine a 245 probably not even having enough side wall to stretch enough.

The smallest Id go on a 10.5 is a 275 (Looks wise)

But if it were me, Id get some cheap 315 Sumitomos for now.

Thats what I have to find out. I know they sell 265s on 10" rims with a shorter sidewall... The VW guys toss real narrow tires with real short sidewalls on wide rims, but thats not what I want to do. Personally I wouldn't do it, but cant do both wheels and tires for the car, so if we get rims has to take the tires that are on it...

Guess I will either have to find some cheap tires or different rims.

Use the 245's on the front, and get some $100 Sumitomo 315's for the back.
