ok, so here's some ideas, you can get the whole longblock etc, for like 6grand, or you could get the shortblock (forged steel crank, 4340 h-beam rods, custom flat top forged pistons, etc) for like 3 grand and spend the rest of the money on porting the heads, intake, getting a cam, or whatever.

I get so excited when I hear new engine.
I called Brad's to get a quote on replacing the engine and the guy at Brad's said they put something down somewhere and it checks....
