Need speedo fixed for gears! is a tuner worth it?

Just bought some gears last week. And I have three choices! Get the speedo reflashed for $100. By a speedo recal. for $90 or a superchip tuner/predator! You can pick them up for about $300. Is the predator and superchips about the same. One do more than the other?

My not not be a bad idea to get a dyno tuned chip if you have some more mods. Correct the speedo and gain some HP.

yeah it is worth it. go for the diablo predator, you can pick up lots of low end torque and hp. not much up top, but lots at the bottom. 5.0 mustang just did a nice write up on it and had a dyno shown for a stocker. Well worth it i think. There are the diagnostic features too.

With the Predator you can also turn off the traction control too - big plus.

So will the superchips tuner not turn the TC off? Also someone told me w/ the superchips it will not turn off the rear 02 sensors it will only clear the code causing it to come back on eventually! can anyone else confirm this!

i thought that the superchips and the diablo did the exact same things? check the adds, ans the websites. it will list everything that both can do.

i am getting 3.73 next month and want to get the hand held tunner, but my fear is not knowing how to use it and messing up my car. i might just get the speed cal, or get a dyno tuned chip

Get the diablo tuner. I am no mechanic and it took less than 3 min to upload a tune. I got a custom tune from diablosporttuning.com for 100.00 and they offer unlimited tunes for your car at this time. You might want to check this out before you by they can give you a custom tune right away.

So is it cheaper to get a custom burnt chip or get the tuner! Looks like the predator is going for $325 shipped on ebay!
