Mustang5L5--That video you sent was EXACTLY was I needed. Thank you!!! And that was an excellent demonstration and explanation on how to change the odometer and all the little details about the gear teeth, etc.....Great Job!!!! You da man!!!! And I'm not going to worry about a sticker or anything like that. My train of thought is if I can set the odometer to read the exact same as what's currently in the car now, then why is it a big deal? No one would ever know it was changed anyway because I'm not changing it to a different mileage reading. Just my .02.....
The sticker was only required if you can't set the mileage to what it was previously.
If you can adjust the new odometer perfectly (or close enough), then you don't need to worry about stickers or notifying. You've done all you need to do at that point. At that point the stated mileage is correct so you can just move on and don't worry.
