Need springs compressor

Anybody have the Ford coil spring compressor or know the part number so i can buy it.

are you replacing your springs and just want to be safe? i pickuped up spring compressors from Harbor Frieght Tool on 6th Ave (tacoma) for $7.... they worked...

Not needed on older cars............

On a 2005 you need a special kind for Machearson (sp) struts.

Just pull them off and take to a shop to have the springs swaped out. (2005)

Or take the strut/spring assembly off the car. Wrap it tightly in a rug. Then undo the nut and move your hands away quickly. The tophat for the strut will shoot off. The spring and strut will however stay. My work (autofxtacoma) does it all the time to the 300C's and 05 Mustangs. =/ I would rather use the compressor though
