All the info is in my sig.....here's the story.

On all motor, with 26" slicks, I was running consistant 13.2 @ 102 with 15*. I got a used dry setup and installed it from a friend...now it has been handed down from a few people, and it is supposed to be a 75 shot. Last night I went out with the nitrous working, and my final run was 11.8 @ 115mph. I don't think I am planting my passengers side hard enough, because I spun leaving the line and didn't leave as straight as normal. My 60" was 1.6...where as on motor I hit 1.7/1.8. So if I can get it to hook better I should be able to lower it another tenth or so.

Either way, a supposed 75 shot gained me 112mph and shaved 1.3 off my time? Sounds to me like it is much more than a 75 shot. I was running 10* timing and datalogged a few runs and wasn't running lean, so I wasn't worried about hurting the engine. I would just like to know what shot I am really running. The jet should have a number on it, no?

Oh, a funny little story to go along with my unexpected gains at the track:

When I got there I didn't know what I was going to run, I wasn't sure what a 75 shot would do. Being a slicks only event I had to run dial in, so when going through tech I told the guy 12.9....figuring I would be a tad faster than that, but I wasn't sure.

So here I am lined up with the dial ins, showing 12.9. The guy I ran the first run had a nice 4-eye dialed in at 10.8. He only had a 6-point cage, so he tended to let off at the end. After the run he comes up to me laughing, saying "Man, you almost got me kicked off." He said that he saw my dial in and as he was catching up to me he kept thinking "Hey, I should have caught him by now." and figured something was not running right, so he just kept it WOT the whole way, and ended up running a 9.94 @ 13Xmph. When he was getting his slip the guy looked in his car and told him he needed to slow it down. Then he looked at the slip and saw I ran an 11.9 and realized what happened.

Needless to say I ran back over to tech and had him change my dial into 11.9. Oops.

My car went from 13.56 @ 99 powershifting N/A, to 12.41 @ 110 grannyshifting on a 150 shot, so I'd say that's probably what you have as well. What size jet is in the nozzle where the line connects to it? probably a .062

Fett I was thinking about your times yesterday when you told them to me. I was thinking that it was probably jetted for the 125 dry shot hp. I ran 13.0 N/A (car wasn't running right) But on the 150 shot same day I ran 11.56. With a 1.607 sixty foot. So i suspect you are jetted for a 125 shot.

Shouldn't be that hard to figure out. If it is a holley Nitrous system then:
Kit Number / Jetting N2O/Bypass / Approximate Power Gain
05115NOS / 47/59 / 80 HP
05115-IINOS / 67/42 / 150 HP

Approximate N2O Consumption Rate
05115NOS 0.9 lbs./10 sec.
05115-IINOS 1.7 lbs./10 sec

If this is an Edelbrock Kit then:

Nitrous Jetting / Fuel Jetting / Approx. HP Gains / Final Air/Fuel Ratio
.061 / .049 / 125 / 13.5:1
.067 .047 150 13.5:1
I believe in this edelbrock system the fuel jet is the bypass jet.

I hope this helps you. I couldn't find what the 80 hp shot was for the edelbrock system but I highly doubt you have it.

This stinks It looks so good when I type it all out then when I post it all bunch's together. LAME

the jets should have numbers on them. my kit came with a 42 nitrous jet and a 59 fuel jet in the tee which was an 80 shot. switching them around brings it to 125. nice time
