But it's very easy to drive it with the 5.0 sitting on a stand in my shop. Point is, if I sell it then I MUST pull it out which will jump start this project, otherwise I'm going to drag my ass on it like I'm doing right now! lol

OT: did your handle use to be "The_Mustang"?

if i were closer, i'd actually be interested in it to put in my stang so i could pull the 410 out and put in in the fairlane and then sell the stang as a v6.

Yes, The_Mustang here. I had my name changed on here and corral because of my project: a 5.0 in a 99 v6 chassis. I can't wait to hear the 5.0 come to life under the hood of this 99, and it will be such a clean install, it will look like Ford did it, which is what I'm aiming for.

This motor means nothing to me, but if I can sell it and offset the project costs a little it will definitely score some brownie points with my wife! lol
