OK, technically not "94-95" talk, but this is the only part of the StangNet board I hang out on, and you guys seem to have the best taste, so I'd like your opinion on wheel choices for my 67 vert.

Here's the details:

Originally wanted to run 17" Cragar SSs on the 67 vert. Got a great deal on 17" TTIIs, so I bought them instead. Ran them on the 95 vert this summer, liked the look. Also, the 17" TTIIs hit my UCAs on the 67 front. Got an option to get a pretty good buy on some GT500E wheels, 18" which clear my UCAs.

Problem--they give the car a whole different look. Not bad, just different. So, I'm soliciting "whadda ya think" input. Which looks better?

its definately different.....at first i was gonna say TTII's all the way...but i'd say put the the II's back on the 94 and put the GT500E's on the 67.....

I don't like the style of the wheel so much, but it gives the car a good look.....

i agree with the tire swaps... put the TTIIs on the 94 and the GT500Es on the 67.. me personally, i like the whole nostalgic look on older vehicles

Well, the verdict is in...I bought the GT500Es. It was the popular opinion here, and hands down winner on VMF. Kinda interesting, the late model guys gave more votes for the "vintage" wheels (TTIIs), while the vintage guys pretty much all said the more modern wheels (the one notable exception being the seller:nonono::D)

My decision came down as much to money as anything. I was going to need to move up to 18" wheels to clear my UCAs, and the 18:TTIIs were gonna set me back almost $1600 without tires or shipping! These are here, and wheels and tires were half that. Now I just gotta get some new rubber on the TTIIs before all the snow melts and the 95's ready to come out of hibernation (although I do need to get it in the garage a little early, because with that savings, I see a set of 3:73s in the works!).:
