Need wiring help: Code 67

Hi guys, I've just recently got my car back together and running, after installing a 5.0HO out of a 91 Mustang into my 69. Right now I'm trying to fix the current trouble codes one of which is code 67.

Code 67 (KOEO): "Neutral Drive Switch circuit open; A/C input high."

I've checked Tmoss's wiring diagrams, and it looks as if I can take pin#30 and connect it to a ignition start source, before the neutral safety switch. However just to make sure I checked the #30 wire (purple/yellow) and it has 4.7v when the key is on. I don't want to splice the wrong wire please help.

FYI. I automatic and no A/C. So could the lack of A/C be causing this code?

I also had that code come up. I have a manual transmission but you are probably experiencing the same thing. I ran the test with the car in neutral, and recieved the code 67, I then re-tested, this time with the tranny in gear, and the code disappeared. (I MIGHT HAVE THAT ORDER REVERSED - CODE MAY APPEAR WHEN NOT IN NEUTRAL - DISAPPEAR WHEN IN NEUTRAL).

I imagine you ran the test in park since you have an automatic. I would suggest re-running the test, this time put the tranny in neutral.
