For Christmas I am getting some SpinTechs for my boyfriend. Only problem is, is that I am not sure which ones will fit a '65. I will admit, I do not know much about '65's, even though I have helped him work on this car alot. Being that I own a 01 is not helping me much. I have searched here and on spin tech and I even called them for help and left a message, but thay have not called me back, after 2 trys. So I figured that someone on here may be able to help. I know that I would like to get him the Spin Tech SportsmanXL. I went to the parts shopper here on stangnet and saw them for sale, but it states for late model cobras. So I looked the part number up on Spin Techs site and it seems as though they may fit a '65? I'm just not sure. Any help on this would be great guys!!

The ones they sell in the parts section here would be perfect. Very few manufactures sell bolt-in kits so just get your boyfriend to take it to a good muffler shop and they will bend the tubing to get it to fit.

The standard muffler "format" is an offset inlet(its on one side of the muffler case) and a center outlet like this:

Does your BF have any modifications on the car? The next issue is tube size; 2 1/4" vs. 2 1/2".
