needed svo hood

hey i just put a 2.3 turbo in a 1984 and i intercooled it and the hood i that i have now dosn't fit due to the intercooler. so what i need is a svo hood that has the cut out and the cowl. i think that they came on the 1984-1986 modles. i found some new ones but they were around $400 and i really dont want to pay that.

I don't think the SVO hood will work unless you have the SVO front clip as well.

I think a much better bet would be to turn the IC so it fits under the hood or get a front mount intercooler.

You aren't going to find a hood for much less than the price above either...especially after you ship it (that's no cheap).

It will not fit without the front bumper cover. Besides the hood mounted intercooler isn't particularly efficent. Replum to the radiator area. It'll cost less in the end and work better.

Are there any FMIC's that work with the stock radiator and AC in place on a 92 stang? Thanks
