I had a shop do a 5 lug conversion along with new 373 gears. I got it back and I was told that the vibration would go away in a few days. I drove it for a few miles then took it right back to the shop to tell the mechanic that something is wrong. So this is what it is doing when I accelerate its fine but the second I let off the gas I have this loud whine with lots of vibration. When I shift through the gears there is loud audible clunk from the rear end.
I have a 90 mustang gt
What I had done ( 95 spindles with cross drilled sloted rotors new pads, fords 5 lug 28 spline 5 lug axles and drums, new bearings and seals for the whole rear end, and of course the 373 gears. the rubber is khumo ecsta mx, on 98 svt rims.
If anyone could give some good advice for me to give to the mechanic so I could get my car back without the issue its having.
Thanks in advance
Dusty Jr.
